Implant dentures | Vernon, Kelowna, Lake Country
Snap-in implant dentures that stay put
Implant dentures clip onto a few dental implants, so they do not slip when you eat, talk or laugh. Jason Kasper designs and makes them in our own lab, working with your dentist or oral surgeon who places the implants.

How they work
What are implant dentures?
An implant denture, also called an implant overdenture or implant-supported denture, is a full denture that attaches to dental implants placed in your jaw. Small attachments on the implants hold the denture in place, so it clicks on and stays there until you take it out.
Most patients choose implant dentures because a regular lower denture moves around. Two to four implants are usually enough to make a lower denture feel solid, and implants also help slow the bone loss that happens after teeth are removed.

Your options
Snap-in implant dentures vs All-on-X
Snap-in implant dentures
A removable denture that clips onto two or more implants. You take it out at night to clean it. The most common and affordable implant option.
All-on-X
A full arch of teeth fixed to four or more implants. It stays in and is only removed by us. The closest thing to having your own teeth back.
Upgrading your current denture
In some cases we can fit attachments to a denture you already have, once the implants are placed and healed.
The process
How getting implant dentures works
Free consultation
Jason looks at your mouth and current dentures, talks through snap-in vs All-on-X, and checks your coverage. If implants make sense, we coordinate with your dentist or oral surgeon.
Implants and healing
The implants are placed by your dentist or surgeon. Many patients wear an immediate denture while the implants heal, usually around 3 months.
Your new implant denture
We design your denture digitally, make it in our lab, and fit it to the implant attachments so it snaps securely into place.
Is it right for you?
Who are implant dentures good for?
- People whose lower denture slips or needs adhesive to stay in
- Anyone who avoids certain foods because their denture moves
- Patients having teeth removed who want a more secure long-term option
- People with enough jaw bone and good general health for implants (your surgeon will confirm)
If implants are not right for you, a lower suction denture is another way to get a lower denture that holds firmly.
Paying for implant dentures
Cost, insurance and financing
The cost of implant dentures depends on how many implants you need, whether you choose snap-in or All-on-X, and whether your current denture can be adapted. We give you a clear written estimate at your free consultation before anything starts.
We bill insurance directly and are a registered CDCP provider. For larger treatments, financing is available through iFinance and Dentalcard so you can spread the cost into monthly payments.

Questions
Implant denture FAQs
Does a denturist place the implants?
No. Your dentist or an oral surgeon places the implants. As a registered denturist, Jason designs, makes and fits the denture that attaches to them, and we coordinate the timing with your surgeon.
How many implants do I need for a snap-in denture?
Most lower snap-in dentures use two to four implants. Upper dentures and All-on-X usually need more. We will talk through what makes sense for you at your consultation.
How long does the whole process take?
It depends on healing. Many patients wear an immediate denture for around 3 months while the implants heal, then get their final implant denture.
Can my existing denture be converted to an implant denture?
Sometimes. If your denture fits well and is in good shape, we may be able to add attachments to it once your implants have healed.
How do I take care of implant dentures?
Snap-in dentures come out at night for cleaning, just like a regular denture. The small attachments wear over time and are easy for us to replace during a check-up.
